FB Lead Finder — Privacy Policy
Last updated: 5 October 2026
FB Lead Finder is a business tool. Its Chrome extension works together with the FB Lead Finder dashboard (specter.monster) to find businesses that run ads in the public Meta Ad Library and to collect the contact details those businesses publish on their Facebook Pages.
What the extension collects
- Public ad information from the Meta Ad Library pages you open and choose to collect: ad text, ad ID, start date, the advertiser's Page name, Page ID and Page link.
- Public business contact details shown on those businesses' Facebook Pages: category, address, phone number, WhatsApp number, email address, website and opening hours.
What the extension does not collect
- No browsing history, and nothing from websites other than the Meta Ad Library and the Facebook Pages it is asked to read.
- No Facebook login, password, cookies or private messages. The extension never logs in to Facebook.
- No information about you as a person beyond the settings you enter in the extension (server address and worker key), which stay in your browser.
Where the data goes
Collected data is sent only to the FB Lead Finder server you set in the extension (by default https://specter.monster), over HTTPS. It is stored there in the account of the user who ran the search, and is shown only to that account. It is not sold, and not shared with third parties.
How long it is kept
Data stays in the user's account until the user deletes the project or the leads, or the account is deleted by the administrator.
Your choices
- Collecting only starts when you press "Collect this search" or when you start a search in the dashboard.
- You can stop the extension at any time in its popup, or remove it from Chrome.
- A business that wants its data removed can contact us at the address below.
